Azerbaijan gets 32nd Olympic berth

Azerbaijan has booked its 32nd spot in the 2012 London Olympic Games after boxer Magomed Abdulhamidov weighing in at 56 kg reached semifinal of a European Olympic qualifying tournament in Trabzon, Turkey.

He defeated German Denis Makarov 13-4 in the 1/4 final of the tournament. Azerbaijani boxers have so far secured five spots in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
