Azeri sambo fighters win 7 European medals

Azeri sambo wrestlers have claimed a clutch of 7 medals including 1 silver at the European championship in Bucharest, Romania. The silver medal came from Jeyhun Babakishiyev weighting in at 81 kg.

Nasimi Umbayev weighting in at 48 kg, Khayal Mirzazade at 65 kg, Ruhin Ahadov at 70 kg, Sabuhi Akhundov at 87 kg won bronze medals. Kanan Binyatov weighting in at 49 kg and Hikmat Alishov at 87 kg claimed bronze medals in the youth event.
