Azeri chess player continues victories

Azerbaijani grand master Gadir Husyenov has made it to the top of the table at the Tashkent Open tournament after beating Uzbek Andrei Kvon in the fourth round. Huseynov now has 4 pts, and is followed by his teammate Rauf Mammadov, Israel`s Vitaly Golod, Kazakh Rustam Khusnitdinov, Russians Borish Grachev and Maksim Turov, Moldovan Viorel Iordacesku and Uzbek Jurabek Khamrakulov who have 3.5 pts.

The 9-round tournament brings together 113 chess players from 14 countries.
