Notable week for Khazar Lankaran FC

The 22nd matchweek of the Premier League became notable with the returning of the foreign player, who has the most appearance for Khazar Lankaran – Radomir Todorov. Bulgarian made his comeback in the away match against Sumgait and put Khazar Lankaran shirt after 436 days. It is the 126th match of Radomir for the team, while the 125th was the home game against Garabagh in December 2010 (1:2).
 
Another player, who made his season debut in Khazar Lankaran last week-end is Stevan Bates. It was the first match of the Serbian, who became the 143rd player in Khazar Lankaran history. He became the fifth debutant in 2012, after Tounkara, Alviz, Brenes and Todorov.
 
55 of 143 players in Khazar Lankaran history are local footballer, while 88 are foreign players. Bates, who is the 88th foreign player, became the 7th Serbian in the club history. His co-patriots, who has played in our club before him are Milorad Korac, Miroslav Savic, Uros Pedric, Marinko Petcovic, Slaven Stankovic and also naturalized Branimir Subasic.
