Georgian team :‘We resisted as much as we could’

A friendly between the women’s (U-17) football teams of Azerbaijan and Georgia was held at the Dalga Arena stadium. The Azerbaijani  team which will have to compete in the home world championship won 5:0. Melis Saryaltin, Aliya Veliyeva, Maya Dangadze, who made the double and Sevinj Jafarzade should be singled out.

After the match, the head coach of Azerbaijan Sissy Raith said: “We have been working hard during trainings and today we saw the effect. I liked the match of our team in the first time most”, she said.

 “We resisted as much as we could”, head coach of the national team of Georgia Geronti Nachkhedia said. Our team was formed just recently and mutual understanding between the footballers is not on the due level. I think we will soon remove this problem”.
