Azeri taekwondo fighters win 5 medals

The Azerbaijani national team on taekwondo has claimed four silver and one bronze medals in the US Open championship held in Las-Vegas, the United States. Silver medals came from Ramin Azizov weighting in at 80 kg, Ilkin Shahbazov at 74 kg, Khayala Guliyeva at 46 kg and Farida Azizova at 67 kg.

Fariz Aliyev at 74 kg garnered a bronze medal. Azerbaijan national taekwondo squad has been named the best fighting team of the tournament. Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters will return to Azerbaijan today.
