Foreign gymnasts to join Azerbaijan Open Championship

The Baku Olympic Sports Complex will host the 19th Azerbaijan Open Championship on Rhythmic Gymnastics on Fen.3-4.

The competition will bring together 131 gymnasts and 4 groups of the metropolitan societies and sport organizations of other cities and countries. Three gymnasts from Georgia, four – Kazakhstan and six- Turkey will also compete here.

The gymnasts will be divided into six age groups (1997-99, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 birth) and compete in all-around and individual species. Along with the Azerbaijani referees, Georgian, Kazakh and Turkish referees, as well as the member of the Technical Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation Noha Abushabana (Egypt) invited as a guest of honor, will follow the competition.
