Azeri wrestlers win 4 medals in Istanbul

Azerbaijani Greco-roman wrestlers have brought home 4 bronze medals from an international tournament in memory of Vehbi Emre in Istanbul, Turkey. The medals came from Elchin Aliyev weighing in at 55 kg, Kamran Mammadov at 60 kg, Vitaly Rahimov at 66 kg and Shalva Gadabadze at 96 kg.

Azerbaijan ranked third in the medal table. Along with Azerbaijan, the tournament brought together wrestlers from Turkey, Sweden, Georgia, Italy, South Korea, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Japan, Russia, Iran, Ukraine, Greece and Bulgaria.
