Azeri wrestlers to vie for victory

The Azerbaijan Greek-roman wrestlers will compete in the 30th international tournament in memory of Vehbi Emre in Turkish city Istanbul on January 28-29.

The tournament will bring together wrestlers from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Swiss, Georgia, South Korea, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Japan, Russia, Iran, Ukraine, Greece and Bulgaria.

The national squad will include Eldaniz Azizli and Elchin Aliyev weighing in at 55 kg, Kamran Mammadov, Orkhan Pashayev and Sakit Jalilov at 60 kg, Hasan Aliyev, Vitaly Rahimov and Rasul Chunayev at 66 kg, Niyamaddin Ibrahimov, Samuray Mustafayev and Elvin Mursalov at 74 kg, Rafig Huseynov at 84 kg, Shalva Gadabadze at 96 kg and Maxsim Prokhorov at 120 kg. The coaches of the national team are Salih Bora, Saban Donat and Mutaalib Yerlikaya.
