Azerbaijan's consul general to Batumi meets crew of cargo ship crashed in Poti

Azerbaijan's consul general to Georgian city Batumi Huseyn Najafov met with Azeri crew of the cargo ship “Grigory Petrovski” crashed as a result of heavy storm.

Three of 11 rescued members were Azerbaijanis, first deputy captain Azizov Gachay, 1952, mechanic Misiyev Arif, 1952, and seaman Valmatov Fariz, 1987, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

The crew has transported about 32 tons of diesel and 2.8 tons of oil fuel.
