Police find two kilograms of drugs at Iranian citizen's house in Baku

Police have found drugs in large quantities in an apartment rented by an Iranian citizen in Baku.

The Khazar District Police Department revealed 0.522 grams of heroin in previously convicted Baku resident Kamal Huseynov's home, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported.

The officers arrested Iranian citizen Kyanani Bahri Siavas, who was living in a rented apartment in the Yeni Guneshli village for selling the drugs to Huseynov. Police seized 0.089 grams of heroin from him and found 1.912 kilograms of heroin in the rented house.

A criminal case has been launched and an investigation is underway.
