Baku traffic police submits 9 pedestrian cases to court

The Baku traffic police submitted the cases of 9 citizens who have not paid the fine for violation of traffic area rules to the court.

The raids were conducted on the roads in Baku from Jan. 7-26. Roughly 174 pedestrians were fined to the amount of 10 manat, in accordance with the Code of Administrative Violations, head of the Chief Traffic Police Department's Public Relations Division Vagif Asadov told Trend.

Roughly 519 accidents related to pedestrian accidents were registered in Baku last year. Roughly 140 people died and 437 injured.
