Azerbaijani citizen killed his mother and sisterá detained while escaping to Russia

A man suspected of killing a woman and her daughter in the Sabirabad region has been detained when crossing the Azerbaijani border.

Police detained the man for killing 82-year-old Khalida Gulaliyeva and her daughter 55-year-old Azizbayim Gulaliyeva on Jan. 12, when he attempted to enter Russia from the Gusar region, Sabirabad Regional Prosecutor Seyfulla Aslanov told Trend today.

He said the detainee is the late Gulaliyeva's son Abulfaz Gulaliyev. Aslanov said a preliminary investigation has found that the crime was committed due to domestic dispute.

The prosecutor said Gulaliyev is being transported from Gusar to Sabirabad. A criminal case has been filed for deliberately killing two or more people.
