Baku resident falls to death from 4th floor

Investigator at Yasamal Prosecutor’s Office Ismayil Abiyev said 28-year-old Rifat Aliyev fell from the window of his apartment.

"A criminal case under article 125 (driving to suicide) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic has been filed. However, it is not clear whether it was suicide or an accident. Aliyev’s body is in a morgue for examination and investigation has not yet interviewed his family," Abiyev added.

It is known that in addition to injuries sustained as a result of a fall, other visible injury and traces of injections were not found on Aliyev’s body.

It is also supposed that Rifat Aliyev could jump from a window in a state of somnambulistic sleep. He was not married and was unemployed.
