Azerbaijan to host international festival of short films

The reception of films to participate in the VII International Festival of Short Films titled "Start", to be held in Baku on November 23-26, started today. Individuals aged up to 35 years may participate in the festival. The films can be submitted till November 4.

The festival was first held in 2004 by the center of young filmmakers Cinema as the International Festival of Student Films "Start", which was named after the first national professional director Samad Mardanov.

The organizers of the upcoming festival are the Center of Young Filmmakers, ministries of culture and tourism and youth and sports.
