Afghanistan will send more mine experts to Azerbaijan to pass trainings and learn new technologies, said director of the Afghanistan’s Department for Mine Actions Abdulhag Rahim. Rahim noted that ANAMA organizes trainings according to the international standards and it meets Kabul’s interests.
He said Afghanistan’s Department for Mine Actions was closely working with the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA). ANAMA has organized several training courses for the Afghan field engineers. “Azerbaijan and Afghanistan faced with same threat of mines, but Afghanistan can not solve this problem without assistance”.
Rahim noted that a guide-book published in Azerbaijan will be translated into Dari and delivered to Afghanistan soon within the framework of the non-military assistance of Azerbaijan to Afghanistan.
