BBC airs inauguration of National Flag Square in Baku

“One of the symbols of statehood and independence is the state flag which is the source of national pride”, the words, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev told at the flag-raising ceremony was particularly underlined by the program presenter.

Azerbaijan's national flag with a 162 meter-high flagpole is the tallest in the world, the TV channel emphasized and compared it with the Egypt`s Xeops Pyramide and the London Eye, (Millennium Wheel).
