All foreigners are "under control" in Azerbaijan

Due to a single migration data system in Azerbaijan, all foreigners, as well as any person without citizenship are under control, and their activities and location are recorded since their arrival in the country, head of the State Migration Service Arzu Rahimov told in an interview to the official website of the New Azerbaijan Party on September 2.

According to him, in the first half of this year, were revealed violations of the law by 6,092 foreigners. The employees of the State Service decided to impose a penalty and legalize the stay of 1,736 of them in the country. Also, the staff of the Service decided to evict 3,792, as well as to deport 564 foreigners from the country within 48 hours according to the Code on Administrative Violations.

According to Rahimov, single migration data system provides a complete picture of the dynamics of migration processes in the country. It also creates conditions for these activities to combat illegal migration and security.
