Heydar Aliyev Foundation donated overhauled modern school to Russia's Ulyanovsk City on the first day of the new school year - Sept. 1.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has completed reconstruction of a secondary school # 78 in Ulyanovsk, Russia. The school has just undergone major repairs as part of the Support for Education project on the initiative of Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP.
The official opening ceremony was held on September 1.
The Ulyanovsk city administration, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, Executive Director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, representatives of the Ulyanovsk regional branch of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Russia attended the ceremony.
Prior to the ceremony the participants visited monuments to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and great Azeri writer, publicist, politician and statesman Nariman Narimanov.
The school's director Gennadi Tsaryov and Governor of Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov expressed gratitude to the leadership of Heydar Aliyev Foundation for their support.
“The Support for Education project, implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, is a vivid example of the development and strengthening of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan in social sphere. I hope that our partnership will strengthen and develop in the future”, said Sergey Morozov.
Then the Governor has presented an Honorary Diploma for Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva. The Diploma was handed over to Anar Alakbarov.
