Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences selects educational institutions for doctoral preparation

Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) has finished the process selecting higher educational institutions that will to offer doctor's degeee, first vice-president of ANAS Arif Hashimov said.

He said National Academy of Aviation, Ministries of Education, Economic Development, Agriculture, Health, Justice, SOCAR, “Azerenerji” Open Joint-Stock Company, all departments of ANAS has appealed for creation of doctorates at the educational institutions.

The official of the Academy said that most institutions of ANAS had appealed for doctoral admission on both philosophy and doctor of sciences.

"While studying the appeals, we were determining chances of educational institutions for carrying doctoral preparation on the basis of “Rules for creation and admission to doctorates."

Hashimov noted that they would submit their conclusions to the Cabinet of Ministers in the next few days.

Process of admission to doctor's degree courses will start in autumn.
