Nearly 200 Azerbaijani students to study abroad in 2010

In 2010, the Azerbaijani government will send 200 students to study abroad under the state program on study of Azerbaijani youth in foreign countries that covers 2007-2015, Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Intigam Babayev said at the 8th International Forum of Azerbaijani youth studying or completing education in foreign countries.

"To date, about 500 students who have benefited from this program study in the U.S., Russia, Japan, France and other countries. Over the past five years, the number of such students has risen," Babayev said.

The State program on study of Azerbaijani youth in foreign countries in 2007-2015 was approved by the presidential decree dated April 16, 2007.
