Azerbaijani Ecology Ministry studies project of Ismayilli region's water supply systems improvement

The State Expertise Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has received an appeal on a project to improve water supply systems in seven villages of the Ismayilli region, the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry's spokesperson Irada Ibrahimova said.

She said in Azerbaijan projects on water supply and wastewater treatment are submitted to the Expertise Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources for the first time.

According to a decision of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers 3.5 million manats have been allocated for improvement of water supply of the  Ivanovka Ushtal, Galagakh, Soltankend, Hajikhatumlu, Rushan and Bang villages of the Ismayilli region.

This and other issues related to the project are considered by the State Expertise Department.

In 2008, 3.5 million mantas were allocated for improvement of water supply systems in six villages of Goychay. Ismayilli region is located in 185 km from Baku.
