Border guards, smugglers skirmish on Azerbaijan-Iran borders

Border guards skirmished with the smugglers on the Azerbaijan-Iran borders, police office of Yardimli region of Azerbaijan said. The incident took place several days ago in the territory of Yardimli region on the Azerbaijan-Iran borders. One of the four trespassers was detained and others escaped from the site.

Five kg of hashish, pistol, four pistol cartridges and 300 boxes of cigarettes were found and confiscated from the smugglers. A criminal investigation was launched into the fact.
