Day of Azerbaijan's Narimanov district to be hosted

Russian Astrakhan Province will host a day of Azerbaijan`s Narimanov district on August 28 to mark 140th anniversary of prominent politician and stateman Nariman Narimanov, according to deputy Chairperson of the Astrakhan Government Tatiana Yusupova.

Narimanov is a district center 48 km northwest of Astrakhan in the Caspian Lowlands on the right bank of the Volga. It is 40 km from the Trusovo railway station on the Astrakhan-Gudermes line and is just off the Astrakhan-Volgograd highway.
