Sale of Russia-made ice creams banned in Azerbaijan

The sale of “Russkiy kholod” ice creams has been banned in Azerbaijan, press office of the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents said.
State Control Department of the Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents inspected the enterprise owned by J. Javadov and found out that the requirements of the AZS National Certification System were violated during the importation of the “Russkiy kholod” ice creams. The monitoring revealed that the imported products are sold without being certified.

The Committee found out that ice creams “Yubileynoye”, “Plombir SSSR”, “Stolichnoye eskimo”, “Plombir Nastoyashiy”, “Lakomka Energo”, “Lakomka Traditsionnaya” of the trade mark “Russkiy kholod” had no documents of quality and safety. Instructions have been given to the enterprise to stop sale of the products until the shortcomings are eliminated.
