Amount of the damage caused by natural disaster to IDPs living in the disaster zone has been estimated, Azerbaijani Vice-Premier and Chairman of State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov told the media today.

"Amount of the damage caused by the natural disaster to IDPs was defined. The damage was documented and an act was drawn up, which was submitted to the state commission. The government will take the necessary measures in this regard," Hasanov said.
He said the natural disaster did not damage the settlements built by the oil fund. "The Zoyju settlement of the Fuzuli region faced the serious threat of flooding. Here the flood was stronger than in other places. But it was managed to change the direction of the water thanks to the timely installation of necessary equipment," Hasanov said.
Hasanov said the natural disasters flooded 2,300 homes of IDPs, including 100 houses built by the settlers and the Turkish humanitarian organization in the Narimanov village in the Saatli region.
"Residents of these houses are relocated to safe places," Hasanov said.
The flood destroyed 400 houses belonging to displaced persons, due to changes in the Araz About 80,000-90,000 cattle and 13,000 horned cattle had been take from the Mugan lowland.
"IDPs, who have suffered damage, will be provided with accommodation," Hasanov said.
