Young programmers to be awarded in Azerbaijan

Winners of the Young Informatics Competition will be awarded in Sumgait city of Azerbaijan, the city's Mayor's Office said.
The Sumgait city Mayor's Office organized the contest among students of high, secondary and primary schools for projects in the field of information technology.

Organizational support was provided by the Communications and IT Ministry, Information Technology Institute, Production Union Aztelekom, the company HP, Microsoft, BestComp Group and the Caucasus University.

The winners will be awarded a statuette symbolizing the "digital world", diplomas, certificates and other valuable prizes. The jury members estimated the projects for 18 categories: design, information, content, software components, original content, design and others.
