Traffic police: Number of accidents is on the rise in Baku

He said that as a result of 103 accidents, about 20 people died, 116 people - injured in Baku in May. About 74 accidents were registered in May last year in Baku. About 19 people died, 78 - injured.

Hanifayev said that about 16,803 cases of traffic violations were registered in May in Baku. A protocol was drawn up and those who have committed violations were fined. About 923 violations made by drunk drivers, 1,250 - passing the red lights, 174 - insubordination, 383 - driving without license were registered. About 69,369 cases of traffic violations were registered during the five months of this year in Baku.
