The tenth of May marks the 87th anniversary of the architect and founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.

Long queues of people from across the country as well as foreign guests have been visiting the Alley of Honors since early hours of Monday to pay their tribute.
