International conference to be held in Azerbaijan

Sumgait will host international conference conducted within the Society for Technical Assistance in Germany (GTZ) "Cooperation between the partner cities of Germany and the Caucasus" May 17-18, the report said. About 50 local and foreign experts will attend the conference.

Sumgait and Ludwigshafen for 30 years have been the twin cities. Since 2002 Sumgait was included in the project GTZ "Cooperation between the partner cities of Germany and the Caucasus."

Various activities were held on topics such as management of the economy, ecology, education.
