President Ilham Aliyev & the First Lady Mehriban Alieva attended presentation of "Azerbaijan" book - PHOTOS

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attended a ceremony devoted to the launch of "Azerbaijan" book. The book was published as part of a Heydar Aliyev Foundation project, AzerTAj state news agency reported.

The book features detailed information on Azerbaijan, including the country`s history, culture, traditions and ethnographic characteristics. The book includes over 1000 photos.

The book`s foreword was written by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva.

The launch ceremony was attended by state and government officials, MPs and members of the general public. The event was opened by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva who provided an insight into the book.

President Ilham Aliyev made remarks at the ceremony to praise the book.

The ceremony featured an exhibition of photos from the book.
