
Traffic in some streets in the capital Baku will be restricted on occasion of the Novruz Holiday celebrations from 12:00 p.m. on March 19 till 04:00 p.m. on March 20.
Traffic will be banned along Yusif Safarov Street, Uzeyir Hajibeyov Street, Bulbul Avenue, from the right side of the Zarifa Aliyeva Street, from the left side of Rasul Rza Street, Neftchiler Avenue, Aziz Aliyev Street, from the Azneft Square till the dockyard, and from there inside the closed circle, including the Palace of Handheld Games and the National Park till the seaport.
Additional traffic will be changed from TV Theater in the direction of the Nariman Narimanov monument, from the Istiglaliyat Street, along Azerbaijan Avenue, the Youth Square, Qosha Qala Gapilari in the direction Beshmertebe area.
The traffic coming from the Sabail Square will be returned from the Baku dockyard back.
Vehicles moving from the Javanshir Bridge till the Hajibayov street can only turn right – to the Rashid Behbudov Street.
Traffic moving on Azadlig and Bulbul avenue and Vurgun Street will not be allowed in the direction of the National Park.
Vehicles travelling on these avenues and streets will be returned from the Rashid Behbudov Fizuli and Salatin Asgarova streets in the opposite direction.
According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, March 20-24 was officially announced holidays in Azerbaijan. March 20-27 is considered non-working days in the country.
