Power outage in Baku did not affect the work of the Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport, AZAL Spokesman Maharram Safarli said.
"The Baku airport does not have problems with power supply. The airport operates in normal mode is sending and receiving aircraft," said Safarli.
JSC Azerbaijan Railways Spokesman Nadir Azmammadov said that power outage did not affect the movement of trains.
"Trains are not stopping movement and we have no problems there," he added.
Bakielektrikshebeke reported that, presently the electricity supply partially restored.
Power outage did not affect the hospitals, since most of them have generators, the Azerbaijani Health Ministry reported.
Baku Metro completely suspended its work due to power outage, Baku Metro Spokesma Nazaket Tariverdiyeva said.
"Metro suspended its work due to circumstances beyond our control. The problems in power supply associated with Azerenergy (electricity production in Azerbaijan), "she added.
According to her, presently the
rescuers evacuate passengers from the train, stuck in the tunnels.
Evacuation work is carried out by the Emergency Situations Ministry.
Ambulance doctors are also in there.
"The problem in power supply caused great damage to Metro," she said.
