The Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor Office has issued a formal information on the armed incident in an Azerbaijani military unit.

The criminal case was launched under Articles 120.2.1 (deliberate murder committed by a group of individuals, group of persons by prior conspiracy, an organized group or criminal association (criminal organization), 120.2.3 (deliberate murder of the victim or his relatives in connection with the implementation of this person performance or the performance of public debt) and 120.2.7 (deliberate murder of two or more persons), the report says.

The agency has set up an investigative team headed by the Deputy Military Prosecutor Shafahat Imanov, who is investigates the fact at the scene.

Two soldiers shot dead four fellow soldiers and injured the other two in an azerbaijani military unit today, Ministry of Defense said.

According to the Defense Ministry, the soldiers shot themselves dead after they committed the murders.
