New synagogue to be built in Baku

A new synagogue will be built in Baku.
The new synagogue for mountainous Jews will replace old one at Shamsi Badalbeyli Street, which will be removed because of Winter Garden construction.

The project of the new synagogue is nearing completion. The construction will begin soon.

“We believe that our wishes will be realized because President Ilham Aliyev supports us," Leader of the mountainous Jewish community Semyon Ikhiilov said.
