The Caucasian Mojaheeds group have claimed responsibility for the blast in Nevsky Express train on its website.

The group said it committed the terrorist attack as part of series of attacks on Russian strategic facilities.
Mojaheeds said they committed the train blast upon Doku Umarov’s order.
“The train was blasted by a special sabotage group. The group will continue such actions until occupier forces stop killings of Caucasian peaceful Muslims for their religious faiths," said the group.
More than 30 people were killed and 80 injured as a result of the terrorist attack.
Commanders of the Caucasian Mojaheeds said they tried to minimize losses among the peaceful population.
At least 26 were killed and more than 80 injured in Nevsky Express train blast.
