Russian journalist presents book about Azerbaijan in Moscow

Azerbaijani embassy in Russia has hosted an event on the National Revival Day.
The book “Azerbaijan. Between West and East” by Russian journalist who lives in the U.S. Yuri Sigov was presented at the event.

Azerbaijani ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu gave information about the National Revival Day, happenings of the 1988 and about the book.

“This book has been written by the Russian journalist living and working in the U.S. and published in Stockholm. He sincerely describes in the book what he saw in Azerbaijan,” he said.

Bulbuloglu said it was expedient to translate the book into other languages.

“This will allow us to inform the world community about Azerbaijan’s truths,” he said.

President of Russia-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, rector of Russian State University for the Humanities Yefim Pivovar, deputy director general of ITAR-TASS state information agency Mikhail Gusman expressed their views about the book.

The author of the book Yuri Sigov expressed his gratitude to the participants.

He also expressed his gratitude to rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Hafiz Pashayev and his spouse, who had great role in the publication of the book.
