Medical teams to accompany Azerbaijani pilgrims on their way to Mecca

Medical teams will accompany Azerbaijani pilgrims on their way to Mecca in a attempt to prevent ‘swine flu’ infection among them, Caucasus Muslims Board said.
The doctors are provided with protective masks and special equipment. They will disinfect buses every day.

Over 700 Azerbaijani pilgrims will leave for Saudi Arabia for the Hajj on Nov. 11 by 27 buses recently purchased by the Caucasus Muslims Board.

The first team of pilgrims will depart by buses on Nov. 11.

The second team will leave for Mecca by planes in a few days.

A total of 2,000 Azerbaijani pilgrims will make Hajj pilgrimage this year.
