Azerbaijani judo fighters to battle for European medals

Azerbaijani veteran judo fighters will compete in the European championship starting in Lignano, Italy, on Thursday.
Azerbaijan`s squad will include Adil Aliyev, Famil Ismayilov, Seyfal Asgarov and Mubariz Jafarov weighing in at 81 kg, Farhad Rajabli, Azer Asgarov, Asaf Asadov, Rasul Sultanov and Ilham Zakirzadeh at 100 kg, and Mubariz Panahov, Azad Aliyev and Muhammad Muslimzadeh at over 100 kg.

In the women`s event Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Zulfiyya Huseynova who will compete in the 70 kg division.
