Maiden Tower in Baku closing-down

This majestic and unique building of the Azerbaijani architecture does not have any analogues in the East.

Measures on protection of the monument against environment influence began in 2008.

So far, the foreign experts studied its condition, and on the basis of the received data, specialists have developed the technique, technology and materials of carrying out of conservation.

During preservation activities, special attention will be given to protection of the Maiden Tower against destructive influence of rains, structural firmness of the monument.

The process will be carried out by Remmers, a German company, and experts of Austrian company Pumer.
