Iran invalidates diplomas of Armenian medical university graduates

Iran has invalidated diplomas of its citizens, graduating from the Armenian and Ukrainian medical universities.
Due to the low level of education in medical universities of Armenia and Ukraine, Iran declared invalid diplomas of educational institutions in these countries, the Head of the Education Department of the Iranian Health Ministry Golamreza Hasanzade told Mehr news agency.

Hasanzade said diplomas of graduates of these universities will be considered invalid in 2010.

The decision was adopted by the Council for Educational Evaluation of Iran.

At present, about 15,000 Iranian citizens study at the universities of Armenia, Representative of the Armenian community in the Iranian parliament, MP George Vartan said earlier.
