Azerbaijani parliament’s science and education committee works out four bills

“The parliamentary committee plans to bring up two bills on science policy and higher education for discussions at the autumn session,” Hajiyev said.

He said the committee is also working out bills on general and adult education.

“These two bills will be presented to the parliament at the next spring session,” Hajiyev added.

He said a working groups of specialists and representatives of state bodies has been set up to work out the bills.

“Education legislation is not limited to this. New bills will continue to be worked out during whole period of the fourth convocation of the parliament. Education Code and other related laws will also be prepared during this period,” Hajiyev said.
