Religious experts' Council created in Azerbaijan

The Council is made up of 15 experts and clerics. The council's code will have 4 major areas: organizing a religious education system, attracting religious communities to solving different social problems, cooperation in constructive cooperation and toleration between religions and religious communities as well as monitoring mass media.

Modernizing the state committee data base, analyzing religious education programs and working out the concept of State- religion will be included into the Council's agenda. The council will be controlled by the state committee, Trend reports.
