Number of events took place in Lenkoran

As APA informs, the rector of LSU, doctor of physics-mathematics, professor Asaf Isgandarov made a speech at the event and spoke about the forthcoming duties of LSU.

He focused his speech on improvement of the quality of education, strengthening of the material and technical base, newly-established training laboratories and said that modern computers are bought and capital repair works are implemented in the education and administrative buildings. The deans of the University, directors of the chairs and leading teachers also delivered speeches at the meeting.

The second event was scientific-practical conference dedicated to the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed. That was held in Lenkoran on initiative of the authoritative representation of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB) in the south region.

The authoritative representative of CMB Gani Akhundzade opened the conference with an introductory speech. After reading some parts from the Koran the letters of congratulation sent by the Sheikh of the whole Caucasus Haji Allahshukur Pashazade and head of Lenkoran city Executive Power Suleyman Mikayilov to the participants of the conference were read.

The confessor of CMB on the south region Mirgiyas-agha narrated hadiths and legends about the role of the Prophet Mohammed in the history of the Islam. Finally the director of the science and education department of CMB Haji Miraziz Seyidzade made speech on the historical mission of the Prophet.
