Turkish Ambassador: "Banning the import of poultry meat and poultry products from Turkey is not the right step"

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali told APA that bird flu was confirmed in Azerbaijan too, and he thinks that Baku is not taking a right step by banning the import of poultry meat and poultry products from Turkey.

"There is a panic among the population regarding the bird flu virus. Everyone gives immediate reaction to this matter. This virus has caused bankruptcy in chicken and meat industry. So, the states should unite their efforts to solve this problem," the Ambassador said.
