Wild birds are still dying in Ganja

09 February 2006 [09:05] - TODAY.AZ
Wild birds, especially crows are still dying out in Ganja.

Tens of dead bodies of crows were found in Khan Bagi Park in Ganja. Director of Ganja Veterinary Department Huseyn Abbasov told western bureau of APA that, the disease spread among crows is an infective disease which is often observed in birds, but it's not dangerous for human.

Reason for the attention paid on the issue this year is that birds are dying of Bird Flu in the neighboring countries. Huseyn Abbasov said that, birds died of "Newcastle disease" in Damiryolchular and Sevinj settlements in Ganja: "Veterinary Department is inoculating domestic birds."
