Explosion occurs at arms factory in Shirvan

A huge explosion occurred at the Araz arms factory in Azerbaijan’s Shirvan city.

The factory is owned by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan.

The injured people are being hospitalized, Trend learned from the Central Hospital of Shirvan city. One of the injured persons has been placed to the hospital’s intensive care department.

Local health services have been mobilized in connection with the explosion which occurred at an arms factory in Azerbaijan’s Shirvan city, the country’s Ministry of Health reported.

Two ambulances have been already sent to the scene, while three ambulances are preparing to go there. The necessary medical care is rendered to the injured, the message said.
