Azerbaijani rector receives honorary doctorate from Tbilisi Open University

Rector of Azerbaijan University of Technology Akif Suleymanov has received honorary doctorate from Tbilisi Open University (TOU).

Prior to the award ceremony, a meeting with Suleymanov was held at TOU.

Highlighting the cooperation between the two universities, rector of TOU Nodar Papukashvili said that joint seminars and international conferences, student exchange would contribute to the development of the cooperation between the two universities.

Papukashvili then read out the decision of the Academic Council of the University on granting a diploma of Honorary Doctor of Tbilisi Open University to Akif Suleymanov for his role in enhancing cooperation between the two universities, and his contribution to the development of science.

Suleymanov expressed his gratitude for honorary doctorate. He gave information about Azerbaijan University of Technology.

Suleymanov also met with students of TOU.
