Leyla Aliyeva visits nursing home for disabled people

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva visited a nursing home for the war and labor disabled in Bilgah, Baku on January 19.

Leyla Aliyeva met with the people living in the nursing home, and chatted with them at a dinner table. The people living in the nursing home thanked President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva for the conditions created for them.

The nursing home for the war and labor disabled in Bilgah was commissioned in 1960s. National leader Heydar Aliyev visited the nursing home in 1998. President Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of a new block of the nursing home in 2013. Some 207 people live here.

Leyla Aliyeva watched performance of the people living in the nursing home, who played on different musical instruments. Later she toured the rooms of the nursing home.

Habib Gambarov, on behalf of the people living here, thanked President Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the conditions created for them.
