Cash payment in buses ends in Baku

Passenger transport sphere in Baku will have 30 more routes equipped with card payment system.
 
Transport Ministry's press-service department head Namig Hasanov told Movqe.Az, informs Day.Az referring to Milli.Az.
 
According to him, realization of payment based on card system on 30 routes to start in the next 2 months.
 
"40 routes in Baku work with card payment system, currently. That list will be enlarged with 30 more routes during the upcoming 2 months. Thus, number of the buses equipped with card system will surpass 1000. Citizens have already acquired 10,000 cards, according to the latest information we have. Measures are intensively being taken regarding card payment application. After the full completion of all processes in the system, cash payment will be discontinued and only card payment be available in the buses" - said Hasanov
